Here at Nelson Audiology, one of our favorite traditions is our Hear for the Holidays giveaway. As I’m sure you know, coping with hearing loss can be especially difficult around the holiday season. By participating in Hear for the Holidays, our goal is to make one person’s life a bit easier by gifting them hearing aids and ongoing audiological care.
Hearing loss can impact every aspect of a person’s life. While hearing aids are often the best solution, not everyone is in a financial position to access the help they need. Through the nominations sent in by friends and family, this is an opportunity to change the life of one person, who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity, for the better.
With that said, we are so thrilled to announce the winner of our 2023 Hear for the Holidays giveaway… Patti!
Meet Patti
We received nominations for many wonderful people, and we wish we could select them all as winners! Unfortunately, we can only choose one. As a team, we looked at all the candidates and found Patti’s nomination to be the best fit for why we are doing this.
Our goal is to give back to our community, and Patti is someone who embodies this.
As her nomination states,
She runs a local Facebook group called Pay it Forward Ventura County. She works tirelessly to help people in so many ways—delivering food to people in need, organizing events, connecting members of the community who can help each other, and so much more.
We felt that someone who gives so much of themself also deserves to be blessed, even though the devices can be cost-prohibitive. We can’t wait to see how Patti’s life changes for the better now that she can receive the hearing healthcare she needs and deserves!
