Trista grew up in a small town in Northern Nevada. She attended college in Provo, Utah, and Rexburg, Idaho, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Brigham Young University–Idaho. She is also a certified hearing aid technology specialist.
Trista decided to work in hearing care because it allows her to make a positive impact on an important part of people’s lives. She finds helping patients reconnect with the sounds and people they love incredibly rewarding.
Her day-to-day responsibilities at Nelson Audiology include assisting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, managing referrals, helping patients with their hearing aids, and assisting with marketing.
Trista loves helping patients and building relationships with them. She also enjoys getting to know them, chatting with them in the office, and being part of their hearing journey.
Outside of the office, Trista likes going to the movies with her husband, spending time with family and friends, sewing, and volunteering with the children’s group at her church.
